Guess What I'm Getting

I have really been wanting to get a laptop for a while now. And finally I have saved up enough money to get one. So I've made it clear that as soon as I find a decent deal I am taking some of the money I've made doing paid posts to but my own laptop. I mentioned that I was looking to get one at my other blog.

My brother in law knew that I was looking for something decent that would serve my needs. So when he came across a great deal at Slick Deals (love them by the way) he sent me the link to this HP Pavilion dv2911us Notebook Computer with Intel Centrino Processor Technology- only $629.99 After $170 Instant & $50 Mail-in Savings at OfficeDepot.com! by email. After checking it out I was a bit excited. It really did seem to be a great deal for a good laptop. I waited for Rich to get home from work and we looked around at all the other stores ads and determined that it was indeed the best deal available. So he gave me the thumbs up (I'm not talking SS here :-)

So once everyone had gone to bed for the night I decided to sit down and check it out one more time. I went to Slick Deals myself to read all of the comments for this computer and was very happy with what I was reading.

So being the frugal woman that I am I started fishing around for a coupon to make the deal even sweater. Well let me tell you that Office Depot does not offer coupons for technology. But they did have some other coupons of interest to me.

The Red Tote was originally $40 before the coupon

I am really happy about these freebies because they are all things I'll use. My kids have been begging me to get a CD car kit forever since I am outdated and only have a cassette player. The tote actually has a spot for a laptop. And we can always eat pizza, especially when it is FREE!

So I think we'll have a pizza party when the new laptop arrives in 3 days! I can hardly wait!
